We want to extend a huge thank you to all those who participated in the March 17 event at Morgan Territory in Contra Costa County.
We had a total of 23 CalSAR personnel, 19 community volunteers and 15 CARDA handlers in the morning (and 12 in the afternoon, some of whom stayed all day) Thank you also to California Air National Guard (Cal Guard)
This event was created to strengthen ongoing relationship with the CalSAR members, and coach them how to be K9 search team flankers. In addition, the CalSAR members were learning how to do Incident Command/ICS. A local company provided community volunteers who donated their time and learned about how these local CARDA teams serve the Bay Area community and beyond.
